Granite Bay is.....
An unincorporated part of Placer County located east of Roseville near and along the Western shores of Folsom Lake. It is know as a highly desirable address and is located near the financial district of Roseville. Granite Bay has one of the highest average incomes and home prices in the Sacramento region.
The population of Granite Bay is about 20,000 and it's only 21.6 square miles. Homes in Granite Bay range from multi-million dollar mansions to small bungalows located on acreage. As Roseville grew in the past couple of decades, Granite Bay also grew and many new home sub-divisions were built, some around man-made lakes. Granite Bay is home to Bayside Church - one the largest and fastest growing Christian churches in the state.
The primary shopping in Granite Bay is centered near the intersection of Douglas Blvd. and Sierra College Blvd. Quarry Ponds is a recent addition to the shopping mix, and although on the small side, is a popular shopping and dining destination along Douglas Blvd.

On any summer weekend day it's a common sight to see boats of various sizes being pulled behind cars, trucks and SUVs on Granite Bay roadways headed to and from the lake.
Granite Bay is served by two public high schools, Granite Bay High and Del Oro High in Loomis. Both schools rank among the top high schools in California.
